> what's this site
pb is a match tracker for the game pubg, it track new matches and save associated stats for it, their are then used and transfromed and accessible on this site.
> i don't see old seasons or some old matches
as said above pb is a match tracker, that mean any match that have not been previously saved cannot be shown on the site, so if pb has been started in the middle of a season you wont be able to
see matches older than 14days (the time pubg api keep matches)
> elo change is not displayed for some ranked matches
elo change is also based on a tracking system and only applied to the last ranked match saved if a change is detected, some time pubg api dont return the current elo right after the match.
> how can i see my stats ? how can i get in
since the number of tracked player is linked by the number of calls allowed to the pubg API, tracking slots in this instance are limited and on demands.
so you can either ask an invitation from someone you know that is actively tracked by this instance, or the best solution: deploy and host a
pb instance by yourself, see pb readme (please if you do so let me know at pb@fleur.is so that i can add a link to your instance on this page,
consider subscribe to the announce mailing list to receive update notification)
> i found a bug or want a new feature
pb is open-sourced at https://sr.ht/~auteuil/pb, be pleased to send a mail at pb@fleur.is or open an issue on the sourchut ticket section or better, fork it and send a patch at ~auteuil/pb-devel@lists.sr.ht
> why the site look so "ugly"...
I like monospaced fonts.
Feel free to fork and send a patch with another design. Note that any patch with js code in wont be accepted.
only html and css is accepted.
> what is pb rating
atm pb rating is only available for matches of season 30 and only for mm squad-fpp.
pb rating is kinda similar to CS faceit elo and levels some exceptions:
pb rating start at 1130 (half between level 3 and 4)
levels are the same but 300 has been added to compensate the match time difference
the possible loss/win default range is -30 +25, unlike faceit CS loss/win pb's ones is dynamic and based on team position, kills, and damages
you can loose at max -30 if your team is the first to die and you made 0 kills/damages or win +25 if you team manage to win the game without kills or damages.
the 5 points difference is to compensate the added points of kills and damages
evey kills count as +x points and if the damages are above the number of kills (damages > y_kills * 100) the extra give you x point every 125 damages ( (damages - (y_kills * 1000)) / 120 )
for the rest or the implementation check src/rating.py (rewrite is planned)
pb rating is experimental and unfortunaly been tested on a small dataset, only on squad-fpp and variables has been choosen by assuming what player i know should be, pls contribute or comment to make it better and why not suitable for real usages
rating highly depend of the playstyle and highly depend of team position and we know that in MM player tend to play for fun/kills and than postion that why some some player might have a lower rating that what they should have
levels:
10 >= 2301
9 >= 2051 <= 2300
8 >= 1831 <= 2050
7 >= 1651 <= 1830
6 >= 1501 <= 1650
5 >= 1351 <= 1500
4 >= 1201 <= 1350
3 >= 1051 <= 1200
2 >= 801 <= 1050
1 >= 401 <= 800
